Ritchie Large Pear 8mm Hook
You can't beat a Ritchie Hook for hooking primitives. This is my favorite style. It is 8mm, which is the largest shaft, great for hookin #8 cuts and larger. The large shaft allows for a quick widening of the linen or other foundation and makes it easy to pull up loop after loop.
